no 1GB is 1,000MB. 1.5GB equates to 1500MB, which is much more than 10MB. So no, it isn't anywhere near as big.

Lets put it this way:

to get 1 GB you need to have 1000 Megabytes,

5 GB you will need 5000 megabytes. so yes 5 GB is way more than 10 MB.
