Based on my own personal experiences together with some of the reading I have done... Oxy is roughly twice as strong as Hydro. So with that said, 30mg of Oxy would roughly equal 60mg of hydro. Although 60mg of hydro seems to like quite a bit. Since hydro is always combined with APAP (whereas oxy can be in a pure form) and to be quite frank, although closely related and similar, they are two different drugs and have their own effects. Sometimes I prefer hydro over Oxy because of the euphoria it gives me. Where as Oxy gives me good euphoria but tends to lay me out more ... It really has a lot to do with the individual and their tolerance, their preferences... I hope this helps. Sorry I wrote so much.
No, Oxycodone is immediate release and OxyContin is timed release. So 10 mg of OxyContin is 10 mg of raw OxyCodone, but weaker towards pain since it's let out slowly over about 8 hours compared to OxyCodone in which the whole 10 mg would kick in within about .5-2 hours.
There is no equals to it!!! Oxycontin is an opiate. Acetaminophen is a non-narcotic over-the-counter pain releiver.
10mg of Oxycontin is a bit more than 5mg of Oxycodone. Oxycontin contains oxycodone. One 10mg of Oxycontin is about equal to 10mg of Oxycodone.
There is 325ml of acetaminophen in 10ml of oxycodone
Hydrocodone and Oxycontin contain the same active drug... oxycodone. So 10mg of Hydrocodone and 10 mg of Oxycontin have the same amount of Oxycodone (10 mg) in them. The only difference is that the Hydrocodone contains Tylenol in addition to the Oxycodone. So on the Hydrocodone bottle it might say something like 10/500. So the Hyrocodone in that instance has 10 mg of oxycodone and 500mg of Tylenol.
Yes. OxyContin is controlled-release form of OxyCodone. It is a C2 drug. Which is the highest level control, you can receive by prescription. It is available in Oxycodone Sustained-Release Tablets 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg, 40mgGeneric name: Oxycodone hydrochlorideBrand names: OxyContin
Oxycontin and Oxycodone are the same thing. Oxycontin is made from Oxycodone. Oxycontin is time released so it continuously release the medicine and oxycodone is not time released. It depends on how much of each you take. Say if you take a 40 MG Oxycontin pill and and 4 Oxycodone 10/325, you feel the effects of the 4 oxycodone pills because the Oxycontin time released but they are the same thing. Whichever one you take more MG of will be stronger.
Oxy what? Oxycodone? Oxycontin? Oxytocin? Oxybutynin? Oxymorphone? Be specific dear.
It all depends on how many milligrams your Oxycontin is. For example if you take a Oxycontin 60 MG. You could take Six 10/325 MG Percocet(the 325 of Tylenol with equals to almost 2000mg of Tylenol which is 4 extra strength Tylenol...not safe) , four 15 MG Roxicodone two 30 MG Roxicodone. Oxycontin main ingredient is oxycodone I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS. PLEASE TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR.
10mg of methadone is equal to 80 mg of oxycontin
The 40 MG Oxycontin is Yellow..
No, both are analgesic.. but they're not "equivalent" in efficiency.. oxycodone, at the same dosage, is twice more powerful than morphine. 10 mg morphine = 5 mg oxycodone.
Percocet and Oxycontin are brand names of two medications both containing the opiate/narcotic, oxycoDONE. The difference is that percocet is oxycodone and acetaminophen aka Tylenol, also sold in various dosages under names such as endocet or oxycodone/apap to name a couple. Oxycontin is the time released version of oxycodone containing no 'Tylenol'.
well most the time on the east coast oxy is worth about a dollar a mg but the more you sell at one time like all drugs the price goes down as wekk The highest dosage Oxycontin comes in is 160 mg which good luck finding one of those. If you have a pill that says 650mg that is referring to the Tylenol in it which means you have percocet not Oxycontin. It might say 10/650: 10 being mg of oxycodone and 650 mg of acetaminophen.
