It's not bad, just slightly below average for 15-year olds. IQ is calcuated by figuring the subject's mental age, dividing by their chronological age, and multiplying by 100.

So, to figure out your mental age from a given IQ score, you'd divide your IQ by 100, and multiply that by your chronological age.

In this case, we take 94 and divide it by 100, to get .94. Multiplied by 15, we get a mental age of 14.1. That's well within the margin of error for average, and does not take into account text anxiety, the method of testing (it will take longer to fill out bubbles than to select an answer on a computer, for example).

To summarize, no it's not good, but it's not that bad either. I would recommend they read/study more.

IQ is designed to be age-specific. So a 100 IQ is meant to be an average IQ for people in your age bracket.

Provided that your IQ is calculated for the same age you are, 130 is above average.

yes - learning disabilities dont come into play til 80 or below and 140 and above are usually the gifted groups. You are doing well!

yes, very good, mine is 135 and that puts me in the top 20 percent in the world. yes 120-140 means your very close to being a genius.
