Hi! That is a very difficult question to answer as there are a huge number of genes that cause Autism and there are likely some that haven't been discovered. There is a sex link with Autism (it affects boys at a rate of 1:42 and girls at a rate of 1:189) but despite this most scientists will try to make it easier to understand they will tell you that it is autosomal.
No one knows what category of genetic disorders Autism falls under (autosomal or sex-linked). Scientists are working hard to find an answer. So far, alls we know is the Autism is a brain deffect. if u dont know dont use this sight dummy
Autosomal
Yes, cystic fibrosis is an autosomal recessive disease.
Tay-sachs is autosomal.
autosomal.
Autosomal dominant
Autosomal (German) = Autosomal (English), it refers to any of the chromosomes other than the sex-determining chromosomes (X and Y) or the genes on these chromosomes
autosomal cells are cells that contain autosomes. :)
It is an autosomal recessive trait.
Polydactyly is typically autosomal, meaning it is not linked to the sex chromosomes. However, in some rare cases, polydactyly can be part of a sex-linked genetic disorder.
You have 22 pairs of autosomal chromosomes in a cell and 1 pair of sexomal chromosomes in that same cell.
Dimples are considered an autosomal trait, meaning they are inherited through genes located on autosomal chromosomes (non-sex chromosomes). This trait can be passed down from either parent to offspring regardless of gender.
