I can't say that Care Free Curl Moisturizer is good for relaxed hair, but I can say it doesn't hurt it. I have relaxed hair and I use it myself. I am trying to grow my hair. Africian American hair needs moisture so, moisturize twice a day and use natural oils or a hair lotion. The main ingredients in the CFCM are water (moisture), glycerine (softens), and protein (strengthens). You can't go wrong! There are other moisturizers out there that are good, just don't use anything with mineral oil or petroleum in it. Search for natural products like emu oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, alo vera, caster oil, etc.. Good Lock!
Second Opinion: From personal experience, this is in fact good for relaxed hair! Especially on those wash days where your hair tangles and breaks due to trying to detangle. This product will soften your hair so much that the comb will easily glide through you hair with little to absolutely no shedding. I couldn't believe it. I was kicking myself for not having found this product earlier. Most of my hair breakage happens in the wash phase and now my hair is retaining length simply because it no longer breaks. Try it, it works!
