Cipro, or ciprofloxacin, is an antibiotic that can be effective against certain types of bacterial infections, including some foot infections. However, its efficacy depends on the specific bacteria involved and the infection's severity. It's crucial to consult a healthcare provider for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment recommendation, as not all foot infections will respond to Cipro. Additionally, concerns about antibiotic resistance and side effects should be considered.
No it can not.
Bacterial infections are treated with the antibiotic Cipro (ciprofloxacin).
Yes
Cipro worked for me !
My period is 10days late and I also took Cipro for 10 days. I tested pregnancy and it was negative, so only thing different was my urinal infection and taking cipro.
From my experience, I do not believe that it is good to mix those two drugs. They are both powerful drugs. I was on celexa last year and I had to take antibiotics to cure an infection. As a result, I got a terrible yeast infection for months. I later learned that my doctor gave me cipro. Talk to your doctor, and see if you can get something other than cipro.
There are several different antibiotics that are used to treat a urinary tract infection. Some of these antibiotics include Cipro, Monurol, Levaquin, Furadantin, and Bactrim.

Primaxin , or maxipime with gentamicin would be the preferred antibiotics in this situation.
It can indeed, depending on what bacterium is causing the infection. However, if you're self-medicating, you should be advised that with teeth, the infection can more easily encapsulate inside the tooth and/or jaw, which makes it hard for systemic antibiotics to reach it. And these infections can be very serious indeed. Be careful and have a dentist at least look at this one. If you can't see a dentist, you can always show up at an Emergency Room -- they have to see you for this.
That is a good question. I was wondering the same thing. I have black spot on the heel of my foot that is really painful. I am not sure what it is.
I've been on Cipro for nearly a week as a treatment for a uninary tract infection. I've had bad fluid retention in my feet and ankles. One source says that it can cause this in 1% of the people using it. Lucky me.
