2002 Buick rendezvous front wheel bearings I recall hearing something about a recall any recalls on this model?
To answer the question that's easier . what they did is extend the warranty for the front wheel bearing to 5 year 60,000 miles. that's what they did on my 02 i don't know about other years. the best thing is to contact Buick give them your vin number and they can tell you . I received a letter from …Buick which told me about the warranty.i think they will reimburse you for repairs you have done but once again contact Buick its not considered a recall. only other recall for a 02 rendezvous was the rear hatch latch. easiest is to call the dealer and the other answer though good information does not help, being the front wheel bearing is not a recall. Not to my knowledge but it should be. The slats are spaced just far enough apart that my son gets hung in the crib all the time and I have to lubricate him and the crib to get him loose. Once I actually thought I'd have to call the Fire Department. I've also had the dropside on mine come detached wh…en I tried to pull it up at bedtime. I've complained to the company, they could care less about children getting hung in the sides, regardless of how much it may hurt them. I told them about the dropside but so far its taken them over a month to contact me to ask for pictures of the hardware on the crib.... Needless to say I've used a different brand crib with my second baby. ( Full Answer )

Go to the place where you bought it. Since they are a distributor for that manufacturer, it's also their job to handle the product during the recall.
It pretty much consists of simply taking off the front drop side. I think my husband did it without tools, but I'm not certain.
Yes it has! Go to .cribrecallcenter.com/step2.asp? recall=1&co=1&m=&p=80002 and put in your model # and it will ask you for an address and they will send you the repair kit. It took about 6 days or so for me to get mine.
Any Toyota dealer can check you vehicle number and tell you if it's been recalled. . Do not always rely on your Toyota dealer to be honest about the VIN # on your Toyota. In Canada a man had a Toyota Corolla and asked the Toyota dealership if his was one of the recalls for the sticking gas pedal.… He was told no it was not. Within days the same man was on a freeway (on Canadian news) and he was doing the speed limit, but wanted to pass another car and his gas pedal stuck. He was frantic and missing cars by inches and had the presence of mind to phone 911. A police cruiser came after him and got up beside him telling him what to do and then got in front of him so he could slow the Toyota down and eventually they came to an incline in the freeway and the Toyota came to a stop. The man who owned the Toyota said he would never get back in that car again! It showed the car being towed off to the Toyota dealership. There is also a recall on some Toyota's for steering problems and also the new recall is the breaking system. The hydraulics they have put in these Toyota's apparently was a bad idea. I own a 2009 and was told my gas pedal was fine, but I insisted on the extra part being put in and they had to do it. Recalls for slight problems come with most vehicles, but not three serious recalls. Since Toyota's have been built in the West and not Japan they are not up to standard and I am taking my Toyota back. . Why are more than 2.1 million Stork Craft cribs being recalled in the biggest crib recall in US history?
Four babies have died and 31 others have been entrapped or fallen from one of the 2.1 million Stork Craft cribs recalled. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada are aware of 110 incidents in which the drop-side of a Stork Craft crib detached. Of those, 15 were entrapments… in which four children died of suffocation. The US CPSC information is that the cribs have been recalled for: . The metal support brackets used to support the crib mattress and mattress board can crack and break. When one or more support brackets break, the mattress can collapse and create a dangerous gap between the mattress and crib rails, in which a child can become entrapped and suffocate.. See the related link section below for a link to the full safety commission report. ( Full Answer )

If your child's crib has been recalled you should contact the manufacturer as soon as possible (call the phone number they mention or visit the website listed on the recall notice). The sooner you get your name on the list, the sooner you'll receive the repair kit. . If getting in touch with the… manufacturer isn't quick enough you should consider going back to the retailer that sold you the crib. If you have your original receipt even the better. . If your recalled crib is in perfect working order you can continue using it until your repair kit arrives. But first you have to be sure that all the hardware is intact and tight. . If you have a play yard you can put your baby to sleep in that. . Don't be tempted to repair your broken crib with your own hardware; DIY fixes may be just as unsafe as the recalled crib. . In general it isn't recommended that you share your adult bed with a sleeping infant. Earlier studies have shown that infants are up to 40 times more likely to suffocate in an adult bed than in a crib. . In general and with any crib, it's important to make sure that there are no missing pieces or loose hardware and you should check it regularly. A bare crib is a safe crib, so skip the comforters, pillows, bumper pads and stuffed animals since they can pose suffocation hazards. ( Full Answer )

I actually called the US Manufacture to asked that exact question. The Answer I got was that there was a recall in 2003 for some kind of padding to make it safer for your head, in the event of an accident. This was for the 2002 model, other wise no recalls.
NO all drop side cribs were not recalled. The new law passed by government is that manufacturers can no longer produce a drop side crib. However, if a consumer has a drop side crib that is not under recall is still ok to use. Please refer to the CPSC.gov website to determine if your crib is under re…call. If not, then you should feel safe in using your crib with the drop side. ( Full Answer )
I just finally got my full bed put together and it was really easy and looks great! Ok so I called Jardine enterprises and they told me to call Sleepy's and ask for a Universal hook-on metal rails for a crib. So I did that and the Sleepy's I called said they were discontinued. I continued to call se…veral more Sleepys till I got someone who told me that they were indeed available and he knew exactly what I needed...he just converted his 3 year old's bed. He was right and everything worked out perfectly. The gentleman I spoke with at Sleepy's is Damien (201) 487-4242. Your best bet is to call him no matter where you are located and he will order you exactly what you need or tell you which location to pick them up from. They can deliver it to you and I think the charge is $90...well that's atleast what mine was but they also delivered a full box which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND because the bedrails make the bed really low to the ground and it does not look good that way. I have the manual for converting the kit if you decide to do it on your own. If you need it just respond to this answer. One more thing that I did not realize when the bed rails came and I thought they were not what we needed. You need to follow the instruction manual because it is very important that you take your crib apart completely to get both headboard & end board into the rails. If you don't take the other end of the bed apart (end board) you will not see the place to hook the rails into and the delivery people at Sleepy's will tell you that you order the wrong part and they do not carry parts for this type of bed...BUT THATS NOT TRUE BECAUSE THEY DO AND DAMIEN WILL TELL YOU THAT. Meaning...if you decide to do your bed without an end board they do have rails specifically for them but you need to call Damien because he will know which other rails to order you. But luckily the Jardine Madison Crib can have both a headboard and endboard for a full bed or it can go the other route which I did not want. Very important you just need to make sure your crib is taken apart fully and the end board is put together correctly so that you will see the section to hook the rails into. Actually the instruction manual will show you clearly what I mean...page 6 has a picture of what it is supposed to look like all set up. So ask me for the instruction manual if you do not have it already! Oh also you need to go to a hardware store and pick up the longest furniture screws you can get because you will need those when putting the end board together correctly. I got mine from homedepot. I don't think they came with the crib originally so you definitely have to pick them up. So make sure your end board is put together correctly before ordering the rails. ( Full Answer )
