Which is stronger an English bull terrier or a staffordshire bull terrier?

This depends on which breed of Bulldog you mean. English Bulldogs may be stocky, but they are short and usually unhealthy, meaning that in this case a Pit Bull Terrier would be stronger. The case is the same for French Bulldogs. American Bulldogs are similar in build to a Pit Bull, except for their shorter muzzle. I would say that American Bulldogs and Pit Bulls are approximately of the same amount of strength.

i don't know what you mean either, but i do have a EBT (English Bull Terrier) myself, and have had a staff in the past.

if you are looking for a better breed pet wise, then that is a difficult one.

staffs are easier to train as EBTs are very stubborn.

EBTs are so cute cos they look like they are giving you expressions and are more intelligent (can be a problem when you are trying to get something off of him when he runs away with a sock or something).

when you have an EBT, you will never want any other breed of dog, guarantee it, as long as you bring him up right and be firm with him (or her).

i couldn't possibley answer that either but i would say i have had staffordshires all my life and they are really intelligent dogs and really loving family pets but on the other hand my cousin has got 3 English bull terriers and they are all the same sort of personality to my staff bull they are all loving and really good with children and other dogs! soo that question i would say you cant answer unless you do what the first person said and Specify what you mean...

The bull terrier would probably lose in a fight with a pit bull even though they were both bred for fighting the pit bull is also breed to have strong killing instincts while the bull terrier was now is bred to be a companion.

It depends on the breed of stafforshire and the size of bull terrier if it were a American staffy the staffy would win but if the bull terrier was not a mini then it would be interesting and a English would probably win ageist a mini bull terrier.

No, although English Bull Terriers and Pit Bull Terriers (American Staffordshire Terriers) are both in the Terrier Group, they are very different. Pit Bull Terriers are considerably larger and have a normal head shape, whereas the English Bull Terriers have an unusual sloping skull. Also, Pit Bull Terriers are illegal without a license in the UK, whilst the English Bull Terrier is legal. Pit Bull Terriers are also much more athletic and strong, whilst English Bull Terriers are sometimes lethargic and prone to weight gain.
