In addition, Islam has in common with other God religions (Judaism and Christianity) the same ritual worships although practiced differently (for example: praying, fasting, alms giving, and pilgrimage).

Prophet Mohammad was the last Prophet to come after Jesus. The Holy Koran was revealed to him and Muslims follow this and the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad. Islam is the only religion acceptable to God (Allah) as mentioned in the Holy Koran.

Islam is in no way, no way, different than other religions. What is different are simply:

• the interpretations.
• the practices.
• to some extent the language, then again lets call it the interpretations.

Now I take my coffee with 4 sugars, you might take none, or 2 or 500. to some people you and I are different. While coffee is still coffee and we still drink and not eat it, I guess its just our perceptions of what is sweet enough that differs.

The difference is that Islam - the original message of ALL the Prophets - is the truth. All other religions may have begun as the truth but were corrupted. The original truth is that only God is god. No one else is to be worshipped. All other religions worship someone other than God - either instead of God, or as a "partner" to God.

Judaism teaches that the Jewish people are a special people - as if anything they do is ok. That is self-worship

Christianity (Paul's religion that he used Jesus to make) teaches that all you have to do is believe in this one man as a god and you will be ok. And anyone who does not see him as the be-all and end-all of everything is out of luck. So, in other words, Jesus becomes MORE important than God. It does not matter that you believe in the God of Abraham - Jesus is more important. Just like the concept of the "chosen people", making Jesus into a god is an easy way out of having to obey God. That is not what Jesus himself taught. It was Paul's perversion.

Every religion has someone other than God that they worship - as a way of feeling safe, feeling ok. Not Islam. Not the final message of God to Mankind.

In Islam only God is God. The truth is that every person will have to stand before God to account for his or her beliefs and deeds. Everyone. No one is "saved" because of something or someone else.

So you have to:

1) Believe in the Absolute Oneness of God. God does NOT ACCEPT that anyone other than He is worshipped. No one else is 'special', and no one else is 'deity' but God ALONE.

2) Do your best to OBEY God's Law.

You don't have to be perfect. No one is perfect. But you have to be SINCERE and you have to believe that there is NO ONE who is God - but only God Himself.

Islam is no different than other religions, I'm a Muslim, being reading the holy book for decades, i have never seen any difference.

People who want to call the difference have limited cognitive ability, we obviously cannot blame Islam for that , that's just the education system.

what happened is that the interpretations became different primarily due to one dominating culture's influence on others.

my own fellow Muslims deny this fact, its just so simple, so fundamental .
islam is not only a religion it's a way of life.

Obviously there are differences between religions. On the other hand, there are great similarities between the World's great religions as well - for example, religions tend to emphasize the need to sanctify your character, not do harm to other people, pray to God.

No, not all of them. Islam is very similar in many ways to Judaism and Christianity, the more ancient religions on which Islam was arguably based. The Bahai religion, which in turn arose in the Muslim milieu, carries some similarities to Islam. A more distant relationship can be discerned between Zoroastrianism and Islam, as Zoroastrianism seems likely to have, in turn, influenced Judaism and Christianity, then Islam.

There is little relationship between Islam and Buddhism or Jainism, Daoism, Confucianism and so on.
