No. Lowe's has not closed any location since the early 90's and does not plan on large scale store closings any time soon. That being said Lowe's has just announced that it will close its central Milwaukee store location 9/20. This store was closed because of years of losing money (talking about ten million dollars a year for the last 5 years). The central city location was not a good spot simply put! (the Menards location just down the street is one of the slowets stores in the chain also).
