Venus is about 460°C to 464°C. Because of the flow of the dense carbon dioxide atmosphere, which also traps heat, the same temperature is nearly constant planet-wide, all year long, even at the poles and even at night. This likely represents a maximum equilibrium temperature for the current composition of the planet.

Although Venus is farther from the Sun than Mercury, and its clouds reflect more than 60% of the sunlight, Venus is hotter than Mercury (which experiences a vast temperature differential between day and night sides).
