That question will not be determined for many, many years. It might not ever be determined. I can tell you these things though. Scientist have sent sattelites to Mars atmosphere and as you know rovers. They have seen that there are riverbeds and canyons on Mars, so there might have been water on that planet many many years ago. There is also a North and South pole on Mars. There is also soil. However, there is no oxygen. At night, it can get to be hundreds of degrees below zero. In the day time, it usually only gets to be 60 degrees.
well no because its atmosphere is made of mostly carbon dioxide, but it can be terraform in some way, but it will take 500 years to date from 2012 to 2500 a.d seems long, but it will save humanity. If they cannot terraform the planet we will be forced to live on space cities
sort of you would need gravitational suits lol turd Another Answer: Not without some serious protection from the heat and cold. Not to mention the deadly rays from the sun. OR Perhaps with some help. The atmosphere is 95 % CO2. The temp dips down to below -85 C & averages below - 40C
>> No. One reason is there is no air.
In it's current state, Mars is not inhabitable for humans. Recent research suggests that water is present on Mars, however due to Mars' distance from the Sun, the water is frozen and/or underground and Mars is far too cold for humans to live there now. In addition, there is also a lack of a breathable atmosphere.
It is theoretically possible; if you have the right equipment.
only if you live in an anti-gravitationalorb which also supplys oxygen
yes. i read in a science magazine that a project will start to make mars habitable in 2020
The Martian surface is not habitable as it is. It will take adaptation by humans to survive for any length of time. There is hope that water can be found. That will aid if colonization is ever to take place.
Terraforming it
In this galaxy, only Earth for humans. Mars may once have had life, but it is not habitable to humans. Astronomers and scientists have found planets somewhat similar to Earth, but they may not have all the conditions necessary for humans. We still know very little about these planets.
humans are idiots to want to move to mars
Yes, Humans will go to Mars. Scientists a thinking that later they will send astronauts to live on the red planet (Mars).
It is feasible, yes, though there are many technical problems that would have to be overcome first. Mars is not habitable to earthlings as it is, but it is potentially the most habitable place in our solar system after earth.

Terraforming it
Exploration and perhaps to colonize in the future. With an atmosphere it is the most habitable of all others in our system.
Mars can not currently support human existence. That being said, advances in science and technology may one day help humans make Mars, along with other planets, habitable.

Temperature is one factor that makes an environment habitable for a species. If Earth were destroyed, humans would have to locate another habitable planet.
Approximately 15%.
yes, scientists live there
Because Mars is near the habitable zone of life for a star system, it has an atmosphere, and it has water on it, and water is essential to life.
