I find mcafee is a very bulky program , it has a powerful set of protection tools designed to be fairly user friendly , however usually that comes with a price in performance. When running their suite if you look in the task manager ctrl - alt - del you can look at the running processes you will see it eats a ton of available memory.
well protected - user friendly - BULKY have two gig's higher ram who cares , duel core who cares use it , slower less ram , i recomend avast! for free...
I too dislike McAfee because the most basic one (windows/system defender) found 99 viruses and McAfee found none. I find Norton much more reliable.
No. Mcafee is not malware it is a legitamit Virus Remover issusedon all computers by dell.
Yes. Its good enough for home use
Definitely not Norton or Mcafee, If you want one that is not a computer hog and has good rock solid protection try PC Tools Internet security or AVG Internet security. They are both good and i have had no problems with either of them.
Mcaffe and Norton both offer awesome security for wireless connections. Before going with either of these programs you need to check with your service provider, they will have certain rules and guidelines.
McAffe or Norton
you use the h1n1 antivirus (mcaffe)
from my advice i honestly think for you not to download it unless its from a trusted website and a good way to check for viruses is to buy Norton Security it may be expensive but it tells you if their is a virus or you should download mcaffe where it will tell you whether is safe or not hope this helps :]
. I say the number one is the Kaspersky.Or you could try Mcaffe.
McAffe is probably the best right now. 6/11/2009
No, But certain people put viruses on the website i got a virus from it but it got fixed. When you play it make sure that at the bottom of the PC it says Internet l Protected Mode On. If not get a surcurity device on it like Nortoon, Microsoft Security, and McAffe are the only surcuity sytems i no.
One site said Bit Defender was the best. Second was Norton.

Yes, most of the big name virus scanners have an online version for you to try out for free. Try out mcaffe or some other brand, last time I check they did have it. Good luck.
Uninstall mcaffe and download and install avast!
