Monty Python was the name of a British TV comedy show of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Several movies also arose out of it. It was written by and starred 6 people. Graham Chapman died in 1989. The other 5 people are still alive. They are Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, John Cleese, and Michael Palin.
