In the countries of Hungary, Lithuania, Portugal, Mozambique and Spain Mother's Day is always celebrated on the first Sunday in May. Other countries celebrate Mother's Day on other days.

No country celebrates Mother's Day on May 13 always. Many countries celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday in May, which happens to be May 13 in some years. Many other countries celebrate Mother's Day at other times, and for those countries, Mother's Day is never on May 13.
