Some people believe it is but others don't because the planet seems so small the wouldn't count it as a planet, and people are still arguing about it (i think) so for now it should be your opinion.
Neither.
Pluto is no longer classified as a planet.
While Pluto was a planet, it was the ninth planet from the sun.
Now it's the first dwarf planet from the sun.
no they have told us that it is now not a planet they are still studying to see but they think it s not a planet
no because its a dwarf planet and it is too far away from the sun
Ceirus & Riris they are actually asteroids. Also, we thought Pluto was a planet, but it was actually a dwarf planet.
The 9th planet to be discovered was Pluto in 1930. However, by 2006 there were so many Pluto-sized objects being found that a reclassification was made. Pluto was classified as a "dwarf planet" along with the asteroid Ceres and the planetoids Haumea, Makemake, and Eris. There is no 9th planet. It used to be Pluto, but that's classified as a dwarf planet now.Pluto
Pluto. From its discovery in 1930 to its reclassification in 2006, Pluto was known as the 9th planet. Now there are eight planets and five dwarf planets, of which Pluto is one.
The planet "Pluto" was recently reclassified as a dwarf planet because astronomers believed that it was too small to be classified as a "regulation" planet. The original images of Pluto made it look like a full size planet, but later observations revealed that it was about a tenth of the size that we first thought and that it had an orbit that can only be described as "wacky".
Neptune and Pluto have different orbits. Neptune is sometimes further away than Pluto. If you read recent debates, the planet Pluto may have a different identification other than planet.Nowadays Pluto is classed as a minor planet and isn't included as one of the eight major planets. In the past, when Pluto was included it could have been classed as either the 8th or 9th planet because the orbits of Pluto and Neptune vary so that at some points Pluto is nearer to the Sun than Neptune and vice versa.
Pluto was found to be a giant star, by some very smart Astrologists/Scientists. Pluto is not the 9th known planet of our solar system.
Ceirus & Riris they are actually asteroids. Also, we thought Pluto was a planet, but it was actually a dwarf planet.
Pluto was once considered the 9th planet in our solar system. In 2006, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) redefined what a "planet" is, thereby resulting in the reclassification of Pluto as a dwarf planet.
Its the 8th planet in the solar system however, when Pluto (which was 9th planet) until it was demoted to dwarf planet, passes inside the orbit of Neptune; Neptune then becomes the outer most planet making it the 9th. I do not know if this still counts now because of Pluto's new status.
There are only 8 planets in the solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Pluto Used to be the 9th planet, but, it is now considered a Dwarf planet, more like a big moon than a real planet. There is no 10th planet in the solar system. There never was a 10th planet in the solar system.
the 8th planet from the sun is neptune but not always, Pluto has an inclined orbit so for part of the year Pluto is the 8th planet from the sun and neptune is the 9th, but some people don't think Pluto is a planet.
Not counting Pluto, 4th largest. Funny how you phrase it "your solar system"
Wait so I tell you some things about pluto? Okay. Well Pluto USE to be the 9th planet but now it is a dwarf planet. That means it is not a real planet really. It is at the end of the solar system which is farthest from the sun so it's EXTREMELY cold in Pluto. It is so cold that no life can possibly be on Pluto and astronauts need warm air filled suits to go on Pluto!
pluto is not a planet. its a dwarf planet. its on the 9th position from the sun
Pluto (of course
The Earth is the third (3rd) planet from the sun. Pluto used to be the 9th planet from the sun, but since Pluto is now called a dwarf planet, there is no planet that is 9th from the sun.
The 9th planet to be discovered was Pluto in 1930. However, by 2006 there were so many Pluto-sized objects being found that a reclassification was made.
