Yes-the answer above is correct, and there is proof in Mario Party 8. The proof is that when it's Daisy's turn, she says 'let's go amigos!' ... strange-but tomboyish!

She's definitely more tomboyish than Peach. She's known as being tougher than Peach, and this can be supported by Daisy being kidnapped only once, in contract to Peach, who's been kidnapped hundreds of times, lol. So you could say Daisy is a tomboy in ways.
