I had the same problem. I separated them into whites, colors and reds (which will bleed)....For the whites I soaked them in a strong bleach/detergent solution. For the colors I used detergent, the new Purex crystals and a small amount of bleach. Same for the reds but a little less bleach.....The bleach is critical as that seems to be the only thing that actually kills the mold spores. Soak them for at least an hour.
