∙ 15y agoThe Singhania University is a private university that has been established by the Rajasthan State Government by an act in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. It is the same procedure for establishing any state university. Central universities are established by an act in the Indian Parliament by Indian Government. To my understanding, since this University has been established by the Govt of Rajasthan act, it is a fully autonomous university that can run and award any degree programs as it deems fit.

not both. It is recognized by UGC but not by AICTE. The phD program is valid, bkz AICTE doesnt deal with phd program in any universities. But B.tech and Mtech is not valid if not recognized bt UGC.
