How do you remove a td27 injector pump?

Its a bit of a job this one, I was quoted $2000 to change mine over. You need to remove the air intake manifold, egr valve and water pump. then the housing plate for the timing gear, there is a nut which needs to be removed and then a gear puller is required to take the gear off. Once you have that its just a matter of just removing the standard piping etc. One point to look out for is the timing gear needs to be put back exactly how it was removed. If you are out by one tooth your timing will be wrong.
