Norco has the same narcotic in it as Vicodin. Hydrocodone is the narcotic in brand name drugs such as Vicodin, Norco and Lortab (as well as others). The strength of each of these can vary. Usually Norco has 7.5 - 10 mg of hydrocodone with anywhere from 325-750mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol). If you want to know the strength of your Norco / Vicodin, look for the area on your bottle or Rx that says something like 10/325. The first number will be the amount of the narcotic Hydrocodone and the second is the acetaminophen.
FYI- you do not want to take more than 1000mg of acetaminophen at a time, and I *believe* the amount for 24 hours is either 3000-4000mg. If you need to take a high dose of Hydrocodone (or Oxycodone etc), you will need the doctor to prescribe a lower mg of acetaminophen (tylenol) in the pill.
vicodin 5-500 has the same amount of narcotic pain medication as the norco 5-325. The vicodin has 175 more milligrams of tylenol.
NO Vicodin m357 is 10m hydrocodone. Hyrdrocodone is a lighter supplement Used for pain vs. Oxycodone a more Stronger supplement used for pain Even with a 10m dosage so you can clearly See that a 15m has multiple equivalents in Comparison.
This is a complicated question. Both have the same amount of hydrocodone (10mg) but Vicodin has more acetaminophen (Tylenol). Norco has 325mg Tylenol while Vicodin has 500mg. The FDA is considering making all hydrocodone/acetaminophen combinations limited to 500mg acetaminophen because it is toxic to the liver, especially when mixed with alcohol.
vicodin definitely
is blue vicodin stronger than the white vicodin hp
yes
yes
Vicodin is stronger than Tylonol 3. Vicodin contains Hydrocodone which is a stronger opiate than the drug called Codeine, which is in Tylonol 3.
YES...fentanyl is much stronger.
First of all, the "500" on the label IS tylenol, the generic of tylenol actually, acetaminophen. Vicodin will show up as 5/500 etc. The 5 is the dose of the hydrocodone and the 500 is the dose of acetaminophen. SO the answer is NO they are not.
no. vicodin is hydrocodone where as a roxie is oxycodone. which is a bit more on the strong side than a vicodin.
Percocet comes in strengths of 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, and 10mg oxycocdone hydrochloride. Vicodin is 5mg hydrocodone. 5mg of oxycodone is the equivalent strength of 7.5mg of hydrocodone. Also, equivalent milligrams of oxycodone hydrochloride (Percocet) is slightly weaker than oxycodone (OxyContin). So, yes.
