Since the school operates completely online it requires accreditation that is granted through consensus from educational ministries operating in different countries hence the process is a little different as compared to traditional brick and mortar institutions. About WAC University, my research revealed that they are recognized internationally as a legitimate distance learning institution.

There is currently a class-action lawsuit against the Alias Group. The lawsuit alleges that:

Western Valley Central University is owned and operated by Salem Kureshi -- who owns, operates and controls [the Alias group of universities] through an entity called Organization for Global Learning Education. Mr. Kureshi has testified that he operates [all oft hese fake universities] out of his apartment in Karachi, Pakistan. Mr. Kureshi also has testified that [he] has no employees.

Kureshi [does not appear to be] taking any of this legal action seriously. He [feels that] he is completely immune to serving any type of jail time because he is living in Karachi, Pakistan. Kureshi is laughing in the face of the United States court system. He is clearly amused by these accusations and has even "opened" a whole new group of fake universities over the last several months including Mc Ford University, Panworld University and Headway University.

Central Western University in Arlington, Texas is an accredited university, visit their website and review the agencies that accredited them. Then check those accrediting bodies out and you will find that in fact this not well known online university is accredited. It does not show up on any "Degree Mill" lists, nor do the accrediting boards. In addition I believe they are always in the process of upgrading and improving their services and staff. Central Western University may be one of the up and coming online Universities that are able to provide you with an applied educational experience without bankrupting you.
