The automatic transmission for a 1993 Ford Escort is a 4-speed automatic with overdrive. It also has a 1.9 liter engine and an 88 horsepower.
On a 1993 Ford Escort , 1.9 litre four cylinder engine : 1------2------3-----4 , transaxle ( transmission )
The 1994 Ford Escort with the 1.9L Escort has a coolant capacity dependent on whether it an automatic or standard transmission. Automatic equipped vehicles have a coolant capacity of 6.3-quarts, and 5.3 for the standard. The factory recommended coolant is 50/50 mixture of ethylene glycol to water. Distilled water is advisable, and modern universal coolants (such as Prestone, and G-05) are downwardly compatible to this application.
It is not impossible but it would be a nightmare working out the electronics, and the transmission is not compatible
