Depends on where you are at in your education. If in high school, it is good. Most good colleges want/expect a 2.5-3.0 GPA in HS for admission. If you are an undergrad in college, it is still pretty good. Most grad schools want a 3.0 or better to go on for a graduate degree. If you are in a Master's program, a 3.3 is fair to middling. Again, depending on the school and program, a lot of Ph.D programs will accept no less than a 3.0-3.5 GPA to get in after a Master's is completed. Again, it all depends on the school and program. For example, if in high school, a 3.3 with some good extra cirricular activities would put you in an excellent position. If going on from a Masters to a Ph.D, a 3.3 would be borderline. You would have to have done pretty well on your Graduate Record Examination(s) to boost your shot at a doctorate (for example, I scored low-average to average on my GRE's, but had a 3.5 GPA for undergrad work, so I got accepted into a Master's and later a Ph.D program.) Hope this helps.
Yes, on a scale of 1-4, it's considered very good. It means the student averages A's to A-'s. When considered for college admission, however, a good GPA is just the beginning. Community service, sports, extracurricular activities and membership in organizations reflects very well on a student, indicating commitment, service and good work ethic.
If a 3.6 GPA is out of a 4.0. that is usually considered above average. Whether it is good or not is relative. If most students have earned a 4.0, then a 3.6 is lower than the norm. However, if most students in a class earn a 2.0, then the 3.6 is higher than average.
It is more than just a number. If you have taken the most challenging course load that your school offers then a 3.6 is not "bad".
Yes, it means a 96 average which is an A. And a solid A not minus. Anything higher means you average 97 to 100 -- 100 is 4.0
Yes! That would be about 89% Which is a B+/A- Average.
Not bad. It is a high B or B+.

Yes, of course. A GPA of 3.67 is a good solid GPA. Good for you!
No. A 3.0 GPA is a B average. So it is a good GPA
A good GPA will depend on the college that you are looking to get into. An average GPA is considered anywhere between 3.0-4.0.
If it is based on a 100% scale, yes, it is a good GPA.
Yes
A 3.5 GPA is a good advantage for any job! Good for you!
A GPA of 4.0.
Law schools are not concerned with your Grade 8 GPA. They want to see your college GPA.
its not good but its not terrible be safe get a 3.0
You can't really raise a GPA. But it is a very good improvement! A 3.4 GPA is a B average while a 1.5 GPA is at a D average (Ouch!). Good job on your improvement, (if you did) or if that is just your goal, I wish you the best of luck on your journey to a 3.4 GPA!
A 3.7 GPA is equivalent to an A average. A 3.7 GPA is considered an A-.
