It depends what type of bat. Some bats only eat Fruit while others will eat meat
Dont forget some also drink blood...

Most bats (about 70%) eat only insects, and would be considered insectivores, a sort of subdivision of carnivores. Other bats eat fruit, and some bats consume nectar from flowers. The infamous vampire bats prick skin and lick blood from the wound for sustenance. As you can tell, there are many types of bats which have a wide range of food-related adaptations. So it depends on what species or group you are interested in
