Yes, Bettas much prefer temperatures above 75 degrees.
Bettas are tropical fish, and need to be in freshwater, when using tap water let it sit there for a day when you know you're gonna do a water change the next day.

Yes Bettas of both sexes can live quite happily with other peacfull species of tropical fish that require similar water parameters. Just remember the rule 1" of fish needs 1 gal of water so that you don't overstock. Yes but remember if intending on breeding, you will need to split up the pair or they will fight. Also only keep one beta in the tank unless there are dividers to keep them apart as they will fight also.
If you have a 10 gallon tank for example, you can have your betta with a school of neon tetras, or rasboras, white cloud minnows, or even ghost shrimp.
Just remember that every betta is different as far as temperament, so sometimes it's better to add your betta to the tank when you already have the schooling fish in there, and give everyone a place to hide or chill out to try & avoid the betta being territorial.
No! That's a bad idea the fighting fish will eat the other fish.
Yes. They're supposed to be in water between 78-80 F.
No. A Betta is more tropical in its requirements than Guppies. Bettas need to be kept at above 75F and below 80F if they are to do well. Guppies are quite happy at between 65F and 75F.
Yes
It is a misconception that betta fish do not get along with other fish. While intolerant to their own species, bettas can get along with other fish so long as they are not easy to mistake for another male betta - such as fancy guppies - or fin-nipping fish like many tetras that often go for long-finned fish. Female bettas can be housed with guppies, however.
a male Betta will usually like the company of other fish but will fight or kill others of their kind also they might fight guppies cause they look similar to a female Betta.
no, guppies like to eat the big tails of the golden fish , and golden fish will die Goldfish tend to be a cold water fish, while guppies are tropical fish requiring temperatures between 72 and 80+ degrees Fahrenheit .
Guppies and mollies are tropical fish, and they require warm temperatures. The fishbowl will require a heater. Also, these fish are sensitive to drastic changes in the quality of their water, therefore, a filtration and aeration system will be necessary. Perhaps a better fish for a fishbowl would be a Siamese Fighting fish (Betta Splendens). With a little floating plant in the bowl and a cover, Bettas do very well. Change the water at least weekly. Bettas come in a variety of colors. Unfortunately, only one Betta can be placed in the fishbowl because they will fight. Almost all tropical fish retailers carry Bettas, and they can tell you how to feed and care for them. To see what a Betta can look like, click on the RELATED LINKS below.
yes a lot of smaller fish can. like 2 zebra fish and a snail. or 2 guppies and a snail.
When I first got my betta, he did NOT like eating. It might take a couple days for him/her to get used to its new home.Sadly, I have also experienced guppies who do not eat. They usually were ill. Hopefully your betta is not like them.
yes. They are tropical fish after all. Flake food is usually best. You can also feed them brine shrimp and blood worms if they seem to like that better.
They should never be in the same tank because Guppies are tropical fish and like to be kept over 70F and Goldfish are coldwater fish and like to be kept below 70F. So Goldfish should not bite guppies because they should never be in the same tank together...
I used to have some. I fed them brine shrimp, flake for tropical fish, and foods like that. ;) Hope that helps.
a fat betta fish
yes the guppies might eat her fin because they it looks like food .
They look just like Big betta fish, but smaller.
