This is a wide category and individual medications may act as depressants or stimulants (I've never heard of a halluncinogenic analgesic), but the overall class of analgesics is not inherently depressive or stimulatory.
Suppress is synonymous with depress. So it would be a depressant. Speed on the other hand is a stimulant because it amps the system and a hallucinogen can be either as long as it is accompanied by sensory hallucinations (Sight, sound, touch... so on)
