Most likely not, unless you're playing Platinum on a standard DS, due to lag issues.
you must have the national pokedex first which opens pal park where you need to go then you save turn it off and on the menu screen the option will appear You forgot this part, Migrate from any game you have in your nintindo ds or ds lite!!!!
Depending on what game you have. If you decide to use a dsi, dsiXL, or 3DDs from your ds or ds light your game should not have any trouble unless you used a action replay on it. there is a 2% chance of your game getting deleted. But will not effect pokemon global link Your game will just ask if you want to use the new ds wi-fi settings in the ds system. pokemon black and white have this option but heart gold, soul silver, platinum, diamond, and pearl do not have this option available.
You put in both of your games in your ds and go to the migration park.
Maybe.
The first Pokemon games for the DS are Diamond and Pearl.
You Put in the gba game in to ur ds and start up Pokemon diamond and it should give u the option migrate Pokemon!
there should be a transfer option, or you can just use your ds as a controller
after you get the national pokedex, you put the Pokemon that you want in the PC , save, turn on the ds game and there will be a migrate option you choose the Pokemon you want and go to pal park and find them.
When you access the PC, you get an option to 'Move' stored pokemon from the computer to your active team.
First put Pokemon emerald/ruby/Sapphire into the slot 2 of your Nintendo ds. go to the main menu and choose the migrate option select the Pokemon to migrate.
To transfer Pokemon, your ds game should be in the ds, and the gb game in the gb cartridge. (Make sure you have transferring Pokemon in your party.) Starting up your ds game you should see an option to migrate Pokemon to your game. The Pokemon will migrate to Pal Park, where you have to catch them. ;) *Once you migrate, they cannot go back.*

You can migrate Pokemon by putting FireRed in the GBA slot of the DS and Diamond/Pearl in the DS game slot, and then starting up D/P and choosing the migrate option. This is only available however, after completing the Sinnoh PokeDex and beating the Elite Four.
your ds emulator should have a option where you can load a gameboy game in the bottom slot(or so to speak) than you have to go to where you can catch transfered pokemon like in diamond and pearl.

put the gameboy game into your DS. Load your DS game. When you go to load your game on DS you should see the option down below to migrate from what ever gameboy game you have in. Click on that and then pick the Pokemon you want to migrate. You can only migrate Pokemon you have in a PC box and you can only migrate six Pokemon. Then go to Pal Park and catch them after you migrate them.
