A normal heart rate is between 60 - 100 times per minuet.

Sinus braydicardia is a heart rate below 60 BPM. A heart rate of 52 BPM may be dangerous but it depends on the underlying causes.

Sinus braydicardia can be causes by:

1) Rest- it can occur during sleep

2) Sinus node disease- which causes sinus node pauses

sinus braydicardia can causes hypotention ( low blood pressure 100 < 60< MMHG)

It can causes fainting and lack of blood supply to the brain. However Sinus braydicardia more often than not be harmless and a good heart rate for plenty of coronary blood flow

Treatment

Usally a heart rate below 60 does not need treatment if it is asymptomatic. However if it is symptomatic it may be treated by a pacemaker.

A heart rate of 52 may also be normal in athletes. For example Lance Armstrong's resting heart rate is 32-34 beats per minute. This is an extreme case however. So depending on your physical activity, age, weight and diet your rate could be lower then 60 with no negative effects.

an average persons pulse rate is 60-90 bps. however, it really depends on the individual more than anything else. such as whether or not you are over-weight and what you are doing when you test your bps. obviously, if you are doing or just have done something to exert a lot of energy then your heart rate will increase, and vise versa. i read that as a rule of thumb to get your maximum predicted heart rate when doing something more strenuous you substract your age from 220. so since you are 42: 220-42=178; you should never let your heart rate exceed 60%/70% of that number.

i read these facts here and you should visit that address for more information:

I would suggest a 12 lead ECG to check the rhythm. If the rythm is sinus bradycardia and asymptomatic then it's OK. If you stand up and then see the heart speeding up that means you are healthy. If not check it out more thoroughly. There are a lot of things that should be checked like the thyroid hormones

No. A normal resting heart rate is between 60- 100 beats per minute, but could be a little more or less. Also, well conditioned people or athletes may have a lower resting heart rate because their heart muscles are stronger and have a higher cardiac output, therefore the heart must not beat as many times.

It depends on what your normal heart rate is. For humans most heart rates are between 60-80 beats per minute.

Athletes generally have low heart rates because they have trained their cardiovascular system to be more efficient leading to fewer beats but just as much blood pumped.

A low heart rate could be because you're fit or just your body's natural rate however if your normal rate is much higher it could indicate that something's wrong.

Healthy heart rate for a 30 year old male?

Heart rate (HR) is a measure of the number of heart beats per minute (bpm). The average resting human heart rate is about 70 bpm. Heart rate varies significantly between individuals based on fitness, age and genetics. Endurance athletes often have very low resting heart rates. Heart rate can be measured by monitoring one's pulse. Pulse measurement can be achieved using specialized medical devices, or by merely pressing one's fingers against an artery (typically on the wrist or the neck). It is generally accepted that listening to heart beats using a stethoscope, a process known as auscultation, is a more accurate method of measuring the heart rate. {| ! width="80" | Age ! width="120" | Normal heart rate(beats per minute | Newborn 120 Older Child 90-110 Adult 50-100 |}
