Yes mushrooms are known to be nocturnal, in fact they are very active at night. They are known to uproot themselves to move to more fertile soil and are known to migrate seasonally in order to gain better access to sunlight. You would think this migration would be for photosynthesis, however, it is in fact to harvest micro bacteria which are solar-phylic (sun loving) and are the main food source of mushrooms.
