There is some argument about exactly where the Panda belongs in the scheme of things, Howeverscientists have concluded that the giant panda is more closely related to bears and have placed the panda in the bear family "Ursidae".

The Giant Panda is in the Ursidae Family wich is a bear. The Red Panda is in the raccoon family or rodent.
no i don't think so they don't look like one.
