No, I wouldn't think so. They can be quite mean and like to chew on things. I had a friend who had a pet rabbit and when it got mad at him it would chew anything it could find. You also have to share this space with another person and I doubt they want their stuff nibbled on. Not to mention rabbits smell. Have you spent time in a dorm? They aren't very big.
