No rabbit would probably be good for someone with Asthma. Rabbits, including Rex rabbits, shed every 3 months or so. Not only that, hay is a vital part of a rabbits diet, which also may aggravate any type of allergy. If your willing to still try, then yes I would recommend a Rex/Mini Rex breed.
A rabbit isn't a bad pet for a child, with supervision, it is a good way of teaching them to have some responsibility, depending on their age.
No, rabbits don't give you asthma; but, if you have asthma, rabbit fur dander and the hay could make things worse for you.
no
These statistics tell you that not every child who has asthma has asthma attacks. I know, much simpler than you thought it would be :)

Yes Acebrophylline is better than Doxophylline, as regards COPD /Asthma management. A has mucoregulatory properties which D does not have. However side effects are more for A than D.
Rabbit ears are larger than our ears. Rabbit ears can hear 10x better than humans can. Rabbit ears are covered in fur, we have ear hair. Our ears go on the side of our heads and rabbit ears go straight up or lop down if it is a lop rabbit.
As a person with severe asthma, I can tell you that hardwood and also tiled floors are much better. This is because the carpet doesn't get fully clean when you vacuum it and can hold in lots of pollen and dust. When I tiled my house my asthma got a lot better.
Better than hating he or she.
Sadly, I don't know anymore than this, but when a child starts having asthma problems, they will vomit. Not always, but you know that is when they are getting really bad off. Hope this helps at least a bit, Elisha
Kangaroos can hop higher, further and faster than rabbits.
Coughing up phlegm (correct spelling) can be a symptom of many things. But it could sometimes mean a sign of asthma. If you are concerned or think you have asthma, go see your doctor or GP and ask for an asthma test. Better safe than sorry :DLove, lozziemacozzie ♥
