Seeds are actually not abiotic. They contain embryos that germinate to form a new plant. Leaves are also not abiotic because they contain cells that need to be living in order to be photosynthetic. I think that leaves could become abiotic if they were to detach from the tree (unless they contain seeds).

Yes, because it is the same thing as wood. Wood is biotic because it comes from trees therefore seeds are biotic.

They are alive and therefore biotic. Sand and rocks, air and water are abiotic since they are not alive.
