Light actually travels in waves. This is known to be true because there are only 3 ways that energy can be transferred. As you probably already know, light does not need a medium to travel through because it travels through space. Electromagnetic waves are the only form of energy transfer that do not require a medium to travel through.
Yes it can , water refracts light , even though the light isn't as straight as it should be it refracts it. If you need proof , get a glass of water and place a pen into it and you will see as if the pen is broken. -Mikhail out That is actually why you have the rainbow:) Ange de la mort
The sun rising every morning. Its' light traveled about 93,000,00 miles through a vacuum in order to be seen.If you accept that the space between the Earth and the Moon is lacking in atmosphere, that is, its a pretty good vacuum, then the simple fact that you can see the Moon (and Sun and Stars) is enough proof for me.
I am not sure how much of a proof this is; but light energy is involved both in conservation of energy, and in conservation of momentum. A photon has both energy and momentum.I am not sure how much of a proof this is; but light energy is involved both in conservation of energy, and in conservation of momentum. An example that shows light travels faster than sound are: - You see the lightning before you hear the thunder. - You see the light coming from the lighthouse before you hear the foghorn. Unless the storm is right overhead, you will see the lightning before you hear the thunder. An experiment you can do to prove that light travels faster than sound is you can ask your friend to turn on a torch and make a huge noise at the same time from quite a distance from where you are standing. If you have a large distance between you and your friend, you will probably see the light before you hear the sound.
Because lihgt travels in straight lines, proof of this can be found when light is emmited in a dusty atmosphere

From rectilinear propagation of light.
during lightening we will experience the light first and sound later. it is the good proof.
You create a vacuum in a lab, and then shine a light through it, and there is experimental proof that light travels through a vacuum. Alternatively, take the fact that light travels through space - if light could not travel through a vacuum, no light from the stars, the moon or the sun would ever reach our planet.
no he is not
A lightning storm is an excellent example of light travelling faster then sound because of the fact that unless it is directly above you the lightning always streaks first and then you hear the thunder.
Speed of light is a lot faster than the electro-biochemical events that our brain runs on.

There Is No Acctual Proof That They Do Exist But Many People Have Reported Seeing Them
sonic generations douse have shadow in it, i found a youtube video of it all. there is also proof of knuckles but im not sure about the rest...
