In the case of a total lunar eclipse, there is no 'path of totality'. If the lunar eclipse

is total, then the entire moon is entirely inside the Earth's shadow. Anybody who can

see the moon at the time sees the same view of the eclipse. That means everybody

on the night-time side of the Earth.

No, a total solar eclipse can only be seen from a very narrow corridor. Outside of this corridor, viewers see a partial eclipse, with the degree of eclipse getting less and less the further away from the centre line of the total eclipse corridor you get. When a lunar eclipse is in progress, it can be seen from any point on exactly 1/2 of the earth's surface.

That would be the half where the moon is in the sky, and since the lunar eclipse takes place at the

time of Full Moon, it also follows that at any place where the moon is in the sky, the time is night-time.

No. A total eclipse is more visible. During a total eclipse the moon completely blocks the sun and day becomes as dark as night. During a partial eclipse only a part of the sun is covered, and the sun will not look much different unless the eclipse is nearly total. Note that looking at the sun, during an eclipse or otherwise, is not recommended.

No. Only a relatively small part of Earth experiences a total solar eclipse.

When does a solar eclipse ocur?

It happens when the moon comes between the earth and the sun.Solar eclipses happen whenever the Moon gets EXACTLY between the Sun and the Earth; a solar eclipse is the shadow of the Moon on the Earth. There are generally two solar eclipses every year. Sometimes instead of one total eclipse, the Moon doesn't quite line up exactly, and there can be two partial eclipses instead. The maximum number of solar eclipses (partial, annular and total) in one year is never more than five.it occurs when the moon comes between the sun and the earthA solar eclipse can happen only at the time of New Moon. When the sun, moon and Earth lies in a straight line (with the moon between), the moon covers a part of the sun, its shadow lies on Earth and the people can see only a part of the sun and it is called a solar eclipse. There's no strict time period to the occurrence of a solar eclipse periodically. When the moon appears big enough to block a direct path of light from the sun, in certain spots it appears as if the sun where gone. The next (total) solar eclipse will be on 2010 Jul 11.A solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes directly between the Earth and the Sun, and the Moon's shadow falls on the Earth. This happens, on average, twice a year. When the moon appears big enough to block a direct path of light from the sun, in certain spots it appears as if the sun where gone. The next (total) solar eclipse will be on 2010 Jul 11.When the sun, moon and Earth lies in a straight line (with the moon between), the moon covers a part of the sun, its shadow lies on Earth and the people can see only a part of the sun and it is called a solar eclipse. How do sun spots and solar flares show evidence for climate change?

They don't. Climate change occurs on the Earth. Sun spots and solar flares occur on the Sun. The Sun heating up could cause a climate change on the Earth, but sunspots and solar flares don't really have much to do with that.

Explain why a total solar eclipse or total lunar eclipse does not occur at least once a month?

We don't get a lunar eclipse (earth obscuring the sun to the moon) or a solar eclipse (moon obscuring the sun to earth) every month, since the alignment of the sun, moon and Earth is not exact enough. The moon sun and earth are not on the exact same plane, so most of the time when the moon passes in front of the sun, it is either too low or too high to cause a solar eclipse. Similar story with the moon passing behind the Earth for a lunar Eclipse.

Are total solar eclipse is visible at all spots of the Earth?

No. The "path of totality", the area affected by a total solar eclipse, is only about 150 miles wide and several thousand miles long. Outside the area of totality, a partial eclipse of the sun is visible for a much wider area, but still not world-wide. For example, the total solar eclipse that will occur on July 22, 2009 will begin in northern India north of Mumbai, and the path of totality will pass through Nepal, Tibet, China (passing over Shanghai) and across the Pacific Ocean nearly to South America, when the eclipse ends.
