No, a wild flower is a producer.

Decomposers are organisms that break down dead plants and animals, animal droppings, fallen leaves, and so on. They turn this organic matter into inorganic materials that plants can absorb, and so the elements go round and round in endless cycles.

If a gardener heaps up cuttings, kitchen refuse, and the like, and keeps the heap somewhat moist, decomposers will move in and start breaking the material down.

The decomposers include earthworms, woodlice (slaters), and molds.
