There is unbelief based on a lack of knowledge; there are those who haven't heard the Word, therefore they don't believe. If you don't know something how are you going to believe it? Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) Next there is unbelief in which a person is not persuaded to act. A person that knows the truth but choose not to believe it. When we don't believe, God sees it as disobedience. It's important to God that we believe His Word. Many people today are slow to believe God. They are not easily persuaded. Then there are those who believe on the surface, but not in their hearts.
