If it was stolen from wild life, yea.
but if you are licensed and have permission and papers to it, then its completely legal.
but you must have a proper place for it to live and things to eat, which means you couldn't get permission to own a panda bear if you are simply living in a regular house in an average neighborhood.
^__^ hope this helps.
what i look up was can you have a red panda as a pet in ottawa Canada it says that you had to get the permission by your government, and if you do they aren't cheap. If you're willing to pay thousands of dollars for fixing it, getting all it's shots, and buying alot of bamboo, fruit, veggies, and hiring a special vet, AND alot of other special stuff, then MAYBE... but probably not. Unless you live in somewhere like, Japan, then no. Try a raccoon. They're related, just as cute, and not as illegal.so i do not know if is legal to have them in ottawa canada
Adopting a panda is not legal because they are on the endangered species list.
Yes. They are a protected species

Try giving money to Panda Rescue Sociaties, but for safer sides, try adopting one!
yep it is. :)
The act of officially adopting is called "Finalization" This is when the judge signs the adoption order, and you gain permanent legal custody of the child.
If it was illegal to own a monkey in Alaska, then why are they adopting them out in Anchorage, Alaska. So, yes. They are legal.

Of course, it isn't legal to adopt a red panda as a pet, but you can support red pandas by donating money to organisations that support red pandas. I hope this helped!
Gay people adopting their partners was a practice that began in the 1980's on order to gain some legal rights. It is legal, but rarely done anymore, since as of 2014, more than 40% of the population of the United states lives in a jurisdiction that has either same-sex marriage or domestic partnerships. Adopting an adult does not provide the rights and responsibilities of legal marriage, but does give inheritance rights and hospital visitation rights.
