At normal temperatures found on Earth, air (a mixture of mostly nitrogen and oxygen) is a gas.

Reducing the temperature of air will cause its constituent gases to liquefy (at various temperatures).

It could be described as a solution but generally it is referred to as a mixture. There is little or no interaction between the various gases.

Nitrogen, N2 is 78.08% of air

Oxygen, O2 is 20.95%

Argon, Ar is 0.93%

Carbon dioxide, CO2 is 0.033%

Neon, Ne is 0.0018%

There are also small amounts of Helium, Methane, Krypton, Nitrogen Oxide, Hydrogen, Xenon and Ozone.

The gases can be separated out. It is free ingredient when isolating the different gases.

no air is a mixture of gases, a solution is when a solute dissolves in a solvent

ie putting salt(solute) into water(solvent) to make salty water(solution)

The pure nitrogen is a chemical element, gaseous at room temperature.

Air is gaseous mixture or homogenous?

Air is a gaseous mixture. There is nitrogen, carbon dioxide, as well as oxygen among many other things that compose air.

What is a homogeneous gaseous mixture?

An example of a gaseous homogeneous mixture is air. It is composed of several gases including nitrogen, oxygen, and water vapor and these individual components cannot be easily discerned from their physical properties.

What are the examples of gaseous soltions?

mixture of particles in the air

Air is a chemical compound or chemical element at room temperature?

Neither. Air is a mixture. Also, whether something is a compound or an element does not depend on temperature.

No, it is a vortex that is made out of a gaseous mixture (air)

Does a red apple age faster in room temperature air or in a bowl of room temperature water?

Room temperature air. The water keeps it fresher.

The invisible gaseous substance surrounding the earth, a mixture mainly of oxygen and nitrogen :)

Is air at room temperature a gas?

Air is a gas at room temperature, and well below it, too. This can be observed in any footage of explorers in arctic or antarctic situations. The gases in air, at least the primary ones, which are nitrogen and oxygen, don't liquify until hundreds of degrees below zero.

What is air classified as?

Air is a gaseous mixture. (It has attributes of a compound because it cannot be separately physically by normal means, only by elaborate centrifuges or cooling.)

What is the difference between air and water?

Water is a single chemical compound in its liquid form (H20). Air is a mixture of many elements and compounds in gaseous form and can include the gaseous form of water as one of its components.

Well, I'm not sure I understand the sense of your question, but I guess you could say that air is a gaseous solution or a gaseous homogeneous mixture.
