Air is a mixture, with the following major constituent substances. Note that there are many more gases present in trace quantities in the atmosphere.

Nitrogen

Oxygen

Carbon Dioxide

Air is a homogenous mixture of several gases, its not a substance coz its a mixture..

Mixture of Oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen , helium and all the inert rare gases , moisture hydrocarbons and man made chemicals are in the thousands

Air is not one substance, but a mixture of many gases.

The main three are 78% nitrogen, 21 oxygen, 1% argon, <<0.04% CO2 and other residuals.

1-4% water vapor is not accounted for, variable but typically present at sea-level air.
