Whether it is a good career for you is a personal decision. You must develop a passion for what you do. Research the area thoroughly, talk to individuals who are in the field, and just collect as much information as you can. I would also look at the U.S. Department of Labor web site. There you can learn about the field, the educational requirements, the day to day routine, salaries, job outlook, and related fields.

Different programs in different countries vary in the requirements. In the USA a degree in art conservation is usually a 2-year Masters degree. A 4-year bachelor's degree in sciences, studio art, art history or archaeology can all be used toward applying for entry, but being grounded in as many of these disciplines as possible is advantageous. There are conservation technician careers and other museum-related jobs that require less training.

Trigonometry and/or Calculus depending on the school's requirements, and Geometry and usually required to complete a bachelor's degree in architecture. Structures classes during the architectural program involve some basic use of each of these.
You can get an accounting degree in as little as 2 years with an Associate's Degree. However, to have really good earning potential as a business accountant, it would be better to get at least a bachelor's degree which takes 4 to 5 years or a Masters degree which would take an additional 2 years past a Bachelors.
