It sure is! If you're concerned check the lable, should just be 'sodium bicarbonate' :)
It's never okay to use baking soda when brushing your teeth. Use toothpaste.
No, it can be mixed with about any type of liquid. ok this other person is wrong baking soda will go bad if mixed with water even in a plastic bag that is sealed it will mold so unless you are going to mix it in food asap (less that 24 hours) it will go bad!
ok
Yes you should! however, you do need to clean it up properly, like putting baking soda on HCl to that it will become neutral.
It can be all three. First, it's a solution. They put the ingredients into water, stir till they dissolve, and they have soda. So there's your solution. Now get some salt, or some sugar, or some other powder that dissolves in water, and put it in the soda. Stir till it dissolves. Now the soda is a solvent. (Soda contains phosphoric acid, and if you put soda on rusty metal it will dissolve the rust, but that takes a while.) Next, get a gallon of water and pour a can of soda into it. Stir. The soda has dissolved into the water, and is now a solute.
All of it is bad for you, but i would say coke. But everything in moderation its ok
Unleavened means bread that has not risen. Soda would cause it to rise to some degree so No, it would not be OK.
Yes. Vinegar is mildly acidic, and baking soda is somewhat basic; together they react to form carbon dioxide, in a somewhat spectacular reaction. Neither is hazardous to the touch, and in moderation isn't hazardous when eaten. Baking soda, as the name implies, is commonly used in food preparation, and vinegar is the primary ingredient in Italian salad dressing. Both are common in any kitchen.
Ok, here's your proof. Take a two cups of water, and add equal amounts of baking soda to one, and salt to the other. Now stir, and see what happens.
Baking soda is referred to as sodium bicarbonate or sodium hydrogen carbonate and, as you may know, it looks like a fine, white powder. Baking powder is primarily used, in cooking, as a leavening agent. This means that when used for baking purposes, it reacts with the other ingredients in whatever you are making, to release carbon dioxide, which when working with dough, this helps to make the dough rise. Now for the most part, when you read recipes, you may find them asking for baking powder as opposed to baking soda. This is because baking powder is another leavening agent, just as baking soda, but it is also mixed with an acid. I hope this provides an answer you are looking for.
OK Soda was created in 1993.

It depends if your mold is lined or not. Use only lined (usually with nickel) for baking. Some jello molds are not lined. I think they are ok just for molding jello are shaping foods such as rice or mousses. (Some people worry about the copper leaching into the food as copper is toxic, but I don't think the contact is significant in these cases.) Copper also has a protective laquer on it to prevent tarnishing. When you apply heat to it, it will discolor. You should remove it by putting it in a larger pot and boiling it with a little WASHING SODA for about 10 min, then peel off the coating. ** Note** Washing soda is NOT THE SAME as baking soda. Arm & Hammer makes one you can usually find in the laundry aisle of the grocery, possibly the health food store.
Yes. But some people are addicted to it. - From a scientific point of view, that is incorrect. if you eat baking soda, you should watch yourself because it could hurt you (make you sick). it is ok to eat in a prepared meal because of the chemical reaction that takes place during baking. if you eat baking soda (a large amount) call a poison control centre.
