That depends on your religious beliefs. Christians and Muslims believe in the Devil/ Satan character as their adversary against good. However, if a person follows the Devil as an object of deference over good, then negative events may arise in your life, or you may become more self-centered.

∙ 9y agoFrom a Christian point of view, believing in the devil is not bad, as it raises one's awareness of the reality of the danger caused by this very personal enemy of God and Man.However, worshipping the devil is certainly bad, to the point of being dangerous.
