It has a lot of apps, and you can purchase more from the LG app store. However there are a lot of smart TVs nowadays so you'll want to test out which suits you better.

The question asks if LG is a good choice. That is far harder to answer because televisions are a personal choice. A display that looks great to one viewer may not impress another. The best way to make a choice is to spend some time to experience a range of televisions before making a purchase. Look at the picture and make sure you see programs that are similar to those that you watch. Make sure it has the right features - 3D and smart televisions are the latest features to be offered. Finally, make sure it is the right size and the right budget. Whichever make and model you finally select based on those things is probably a good choice for you.

∙ 11y agoI guess your LG TV is an old model, basically all the LG 2011 and 2012 models are smart TV available. However you can buy a smart TV upgrader to get access to its smart features.
