Chemistry is classified as one of the physical sciences. Generally, it is divided in to three areas; Organic, Inorganic and Physical, additionally Analytical is often considered necessary. When applying knowledge of newtonian forces, it is not mass applicable in chemistry; however, for instance study of gases, boyles and Charles law etc these are deemed physics as well.
