No, it isn't actually. 'Sister James', who now goes by Sister McEntee [and helped produced the film] is actually still a teacher today, and I know her. She taught the man who made the film, and he used her as a character, as a momento to her. Sister McEntee and Sister Aloysius did know each other as shown in the film as well, but the whole molestation scandal didn't happen.
