NO, I've driven from Alabama to Denver Jan. 21, it was a nightmare. Stopped in Arkanasaw, it rained all the way from Ar to Oklakloma and then it snowed the rest of the way. Interstate were closed, my son was pulling a uhaul with his truck, he went off the road and was stuck in a ditch, my other son was driving a car and he also got stuck in the snow. We had to spend two nights in a motel because of the weather. Finally got into Colorado and it was breeze all the way to Denver. So it took us 3 days to make a 21 hour, 46 minute trip, it was 1456 miles. So NO, don't do it.
Not advisable, but still possible.
