Is ecstasy more harmful than methamphetamine?

i was going through answering questions that have not been answered and this was one that i was going to ask myself, and yet no one has answered it. so at this moment, January 2nd 2009, i have done one pill of methadone and 1 1/4 ecstasy pills. the time is 7:04. i will send this now and let you know.

i am on methadone and have been for years (7?). i have done ecstacy many times and sometimes a lot of it and other than feeling awful the next day,nothing weird happened.

It is in the Amphetamine class of drugs (as with meth) and its chemical structure is partially similar to Methamphetamine but it is a unique chemical and it works differently then Methamphetamine (it has some similar effects although)

There is only one form of methamphetamine and one form of MDMA (Ecstasy)

MDMA which is the primary ingredient in ecstasy is a designer amphetamine. MDMA is a hallucinogenic/stimulant. However most ecstasy tablets are made with other stimulants in them. Such as coke or meth. If you just want pure MDMA go out and buy molly which comes in powder form most of the time and have yourself a great time. =]

It is not methamphetamine but it is an amphetamine. MDMA increases Serotonin levels the most then dopamine, norpinephrine, and monoamine. Methamphetamine releases dopamine, Norepinephrine, and Monoamine the most and Serotonin a little which is the opposite of MDMA. MDMA does have an amphetamine effect like meth in that it increases your body temperature and increases blood pressure. MDMA has little to no addiction compared to methamphetamine which is highly addictive. However if you have taken ecstasy pills there is a chance that you have gotton meth mixed in with your ecstasy pill.
