Best Answer

No car or dirt bike has an external combustion engine. All cars and dirt bikes have internal combustion engines, except for a limited amount those vehicles that are powered only by batteries and electric motors.

Why not use radiator in bike?

Combustion Engines can be made either air-cooled or water-cooled. Radiators are only needed for water-cooled Engines. Small two stroke Engines are used in Bikes. On that external surface Fin type arrangement is made. This is enough to dissipate the heat from the engine as which is small

What kind of motors are used in bike?

There are electric bikes(which usually legally are considered bicycles) and there are bikes with combustion engines.(which usually are seen as either scooters/mopeds or motorcycles by the law.) For the combustion engines you can have either 2-stroke engines(which usually are fairly small) or 4-stroke engines. You can have one cylinder, or several. Then there are a few custom builds with turbine engines and the occasional drag/showbike with jet, or rocket engines. Most bikes run on gasoline, but there are Diesel bikes too.

How much would it cost to have a custom electric road bike with a 150cc motor built?

150cc is a measure of cylinder volume for combustion Engines. Doesn't make sens to ask for a 150 cc Electric road bike. Unless you want a hybrid, dual drivetrain vehicle.

What kind of vehicles don't have engines?

A bike

How do you work the air suction valve in a bike?

The air suction valve is designed to reduce gas emission in combustion engines. Also known as a PAV, or pulsed air valve, the valves work on their own in the exhaust system and need no maintenace from the bike owner. The valve can be removed but then the bike's emission may not fulfill the criteria of air pollution regulations, for example in California.

Why a 100cc bike consumes too much fuel?

All internal combustion engines consume fuel. However excessive fuel consumption can be caused by a Carburetor that is flooding. It can also be caused by a leaky gas line or fitting. Fuel comsumption is directly proportionate to how hard the bike is ridden, and how much weight is on the machine.

How engine starts?

an engine needs a primemover force to start. that is, a sufficient-initial external force. thats why, we kick the kicker of the bike inorder to put it an external starting force. in case of self starting engines, also in cars, there is a starter motor to give up this external starting torque when we push the ignition switch or the ignition key.

How often do you have to rebuild 4 stroke dirt bike engines?

100hrs

What is a bike called in the style of a motorbike?

A bicycle with an internal combustion motor motor is called a moped.

Who invented the motor bike?

The German Gottlieb Daimler invented the first gas-engined motorcycle in 1885. These "motorcycles" were ordinary pedal bikes with small steam engines on the FRONT tire. The internal combustion engine was developed in Germany in 1876 then spawned the Motorcycle in 1885.

Do you have to have a drivers license for an electric bike?

Depends on the power of the bike. Weak, "assist" engines don't need licenses. Stronger machines do.
